CBS promises to sell some television shows on iTunes for 99 cents
We had heard that Apple hopes to at least some television to the 99-cent iTunes in time for the start IPAD brand, and it seems that CBS is now officially the first to come on board. Although a final agreement does not appear immediately, CBS CEO Leslie Moonves has openly told the Financial Times that “there are some shows that are sold at Apple for 99 cents – not much room over there.” Other networks are not on the plate not speak, but the Financial Times reported earlier that some have already adopted similar terms and will begin selling shows at the lowest price – may coincide with the start iPad.

Update: Peter Kafka of All Things Digital has any information about this – sources say Moonves spoke extemporaneously, and while CBS is open to a deal with Apple, there is nothing up at all. Unfortunately, no one goes on the record here, if the situation remains unclear – we just have to wait and see what happens.

You can’t beat a good euphonious
